Location
This position will be based in Charlotte, NC.
Summary of Role
In this role, you’ll be part of the nexus between legal operations, corporate governance, and corporate finance—working cross-functionally with internal teams and externally with partners and investors. Responsibilities will include tracking the progress of transaction documents, maintaining corporate records and supporting a collaborative deal team. You’ll be empowered to innovate, create and streamline processes, and shape the future of Palmetto LightReach. Strategic & Tactical
- Coordinate deliverables for financing and investment transactions
- Maintain corporate documents, including Board resolutions
- Oversee company registrations and coordinate annual reporting (with external support)
- Support investor and lender relationships, including delivery of Know Your Customer and reporting materials
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency in repeated similar transactions
- Build strong relationships across departments and with external stakeholders
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and urgent requests
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Certified Paralegal status required
- Completion of an ABA-approved post-baccalaureate paralegal program preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience as a corporate or financial transaction-focused paralegal preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, DealVDR, Teams and Google Apps
