Sustainability and Impact Lead - Bangkok Office

Your Role

1) Sustainability Impact & Development

• Cultivate Strategic Relationships: Proactively engage with stakeholders, organizations, and communities across Thailand and APAC to build strong relationships. Represent PALO IT at sustainability communities, industry events, conferences, and community gatherings. Actively network to promote our "tech for good" mission and sustainability offerings.
• Develop Impact-Driven Solutions: Identify collaboration opportunities and lead the development of compelling proposals for clients seeking to enhance sustainability through digital solutions. Drive the conceptualization and continuous enhancement of PALO IT's sustainability and ESG data management platform, including designing, implementing, and optimizing features for robust data capture, analysis, and reporting. Develop and scale new offerings focused on sustainable IT, digital carbon footprint, ESG data strategy, and impact-driven design.
• Drive Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging trends in sustainability and digital innovation, particularly in ESG data standards and reporting frameworks. Conduct research on new sustainable technologies and contribute to thought leadership through white papers and industry presentations.
• Client Training & Enablement: Provide expert training and workshops to clients on sustainability principles, effective utilization of ESG data platforms, and data management best practices, fostering their internal capabilities.
• Nurture Partnerships: Act as a subject matter expert, demonstrating our offerings' value through consultative discussions. Collaborate with marketing and project teams to identify and nurture "tech for good" opportunities, building meaningful relationships with business and impact partners to expand our reach within the sustainability community.

 

2) Internal Sustainability Activities & Leadership

• Lead Internal Sustainability Strategy & Activities: Develop and implement PALO IT Thailand's positive impact strategy and roadmaps, generating revenue from impact projects, trainings for staff on sustainability, and maintenance of B Corp re-certification.
• Foster a Culture of Impact: Collaborate with internal teams ("Palowans") to embed sustainability within their roadmaps and operations, creating a resilient and positive ecosystem. Champion continuous learning, sponsor the Impact Innovation Lab, and actively contribute to R&D, external presentations, and publications to showcase PALO IT's leadership in sustainable innovation.

 

Who You Are

• Bachelor's Degree / Master’s Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Must have GHG accounting and ESG advisory experience.
• 6–8+ years of progressive experience in sustainability or ESG advisory—particularly in digital ESG solutions—bringing proven expertise in GHG accounting, ESG data management and reporting platforms, project management, and ideally, a background in sustainable IT or sustainability tech.
• Skilled sustainability professional with strong strategic relationship-building abilities, deep ESG data and framework expertise, proven leadership and business-aligned sustainability thinking, and exceptional communication, presentation, and client-facing skills in both Thai and English.
