Your Role

As a Data Analyst / Data Steward, you will play a dual role: ensuring the availability of high-quality, trustworthy data for business decision-making, while also enforcing data governance and stewardship best practices across departments.You’ll work hand-in-hand with business stakeholders  to run data validation tests, ensure alignment between technical and business teams, and deliver impactful analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business units to gather data requirements, translate them into models, and deliver actionable dashboards and reports.

• Run data validation and user acceptance tests directly with business stakeholders to ensure accuracy and usability.

• Perform data quality assessments, anomaly detection, cleansing, and enrichment processes.

• Maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and business glossaries.

• Define and enforce data standards, lineage, ownership, and integrity constraints.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stewards to build and monitor data governance frameworks.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and internal data policies.

• Identify opportunities for automation in data quality control and governance.

• Present insights in a clear, concise and impactful manner — both to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Support impact analysis, data lineage tracing, and root cause investigations when needed.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis, BI, or Data Stewardship roles.

• Strong SQL and Python skills (Pandas, NumPy).

• Proficient in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar.

• Experience with data governance tools like Collibra, Alation, Talend DQ, or Informatica is a strong plus.

• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and analytics pipelines.

• Knowledge of data privacy, lifecycle management, and data security principles.

• Comfortable working with large datasets and translating raw data into clear business insights.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
