Your Role:

As a Platform Engineer, you will be at the core of building resilient, scalable, and developer-friendly platforms. Your mission is to empower development teams to deliver features faster and safer through infrastructure automation, observability, and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.

• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment and testing.

• Build internal developer platforms and self-service tools to enhance delivery velocity.

• Ensure secure transfer of data and metadata from On-Prem to Cloud, following enterprise-grade protocols and strict security compliance

• Support cloud migration and data governance using Informatica or similar tools, considering multiple cloud compatibility.

• Collaborate closely with InfoSec teams to ensure compliance with stringent security and privacy standards.

• Champion observability best practices using Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry.

• Integrate SAST, DAST, and secrets management solutions into CI/CD workflows.

• Participate in incident response, RCA, and drive proactive platform improvements.

• Drive containerization and orchestration via Docker and Kubernetes in cloud or hybrid environments.

Who You Are

• Solid experience as a DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineer, or similar role.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi.

• Strong experience in CI/CD technologies such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins.

• Hands-on experience with at least one major Cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Experience in secure data transfer strategies from On-Prem systems to Cloud (encryption, auditability, identity & access control).

• Understanding of metadata governance and compliance implications during migration.

• Skilled in Kubernetes and containerization best practices.

• Solid grasp of Linux internals, networking, and cybersecurity principles.

• Familiarity with monitoring/observability stacks (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go is a plus.

• Excellent communicator, collaborator, and problem-solver.

Nice to Have

• Experience or familiarity with IBM FS Cloud, especially in regulated enterprise environments.

• Hands-on experience with Informatica in a cloud migration context.

• Previous experience with highly secure banking environments or regulated data ecosystems.
