Your Role 

You will be part of a high-impact team supporting and evolving a large-scale eCommerce platform operating under high traffic conditions (e.g., peak sales events with massive transaction volumes). The role combines development of new features and production support, requiring strong problem-solving skills and deep technical expertise.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Java (core) and Spring Boot in high-performance environments
• Design and implement scalable, resilient architectures (microservices, event-driven systems, asynchronous processing)
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs ensuring performance, security, and reliability
• Handle production incidents, bug fixing, and performance issues in critical systems
• Work with high data volume systems, ensuring efficient data processing, concurrency, and scalability
• Apply best practices in OOP, design patterns, and clean architecture (MVC, layered architecture)
• Collaborate closely with frontend teams to design efficient APIs and system integrations
• Contribute to system modernization and migration from legacy to modern architectures
• Implement containerization solutions (Docker) and support cloud-based workflows
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Who You Are

• +6 years of experience in Core Java (JVM, memory management, garbage collection, data structures)
• Proven hands-on expertise with Spring Boot and REST API development
• Solid understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices
• Experience with high-volume, high-traffic systems (eCommerce or similar)
• Knowledge of asynchronous processing, concurrency, and performance optimization
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization
• Strong understanding of Git and version control best practices
• Experience working in production support environments (incident resolution + feature development)
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
