Senior Staff UX Prototyper, Design Technology

About Panasonic Well:

Panasonic Well is a venture and business incubator from the Panasonic Group focused on pioneering new health and wellness solutions by connecting hardware, software and services through industry-leading, responsible AI. We are committed to building an ecosystem of technology that improves well-being for every generation.

Panasonic Well operates in the US as Panasonic Well LLC and in Japan as a division of Panasonic Holdings Corporation.

About The Role:

As one of the first dedicated UX Prototypers on our team, you’ll have a significant influence on shaping the product experience, design processes, and the future of the company. You will collaborate closely with product designers, researchers, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create and refine consumer experiences, through rapid prototyping (rather than production-level code, though an understanding of development constraints is essential). If you're someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building from the ground up, we'd love to meet you! You will also establish UX processes, mentor others, and ensure our products are innovative, scalable, and highly impactful.

What You’ll Get To Do:

  • Develop high-fidelity, interactive prototypes to demonstrate user interactions, animations, and transitions. Your prototypes will be a key part of validating concepts with users and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with UX designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to iterate on ideas and ensure prototypes are technically feasible.
  • Help build 0 to 1 experiences, defining new workflows and pushing innovative solutions for user problems.
  • Conduct or assist in user testing sessions, gathering feedback, and iterating quickly to improve designs.
  • Use tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and others to create both low- and high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Keep up with the latest trends in user experience design and prototyping tools, and share insights with the team.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers to ensure prototypes can be translated into high-quality, scalable code.
  • Thrive in an environment where priorities can shift quickly. Adapt to new challenges and requirements with creativity and a positive mindset.
  • Help define the prototyping process and set efficient workflows for the team.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in UX prototyping, interaction design, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and a strong understanding of interaction design principles.
  • Strong grasp of front-end development basics (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) to communicate effectively with engineering teams, though production-level coding is not a focus of this role.
  • Experience creating interactive prototypes for both web and mobile applications.
  • Proven track record of working on 0 to 1 projects or new product launches.
  • Proven ability to work with engineers, product designers, researchers, and product managers and exhibit competence in meaningfully contributing to technical and user experience discussions and tradeoffs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and prototype goals to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to iterate quickly based on feedback, making data-driven design decisions.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
