About The Role:
As a Senior Data Engineer at Panasonic Well you will be working in the forefront of using data and analytics to drive wellness for families across the world. You will be responsible for implementing data solutions that protect our customers privacy while enabling us to better serve and support our customers through artificial intelligence and human in the loop interactions.
You will help tackle questions like - how do we best capture and structure family level information, how do we ingest and transform data from various sources including connect IoT devices, how do we structure our data to enable fast, efficient and meaningful analytics, and most importantly how do we ensure privacy and integrity of our data is kept at all points.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Design, develop, optimize, and automate data pipelines that blend and transform data across different sources to help drive business intelligence, analytics, data science, and self-service data solutions
- Build workflows that source, transform, and load data that’s both structured and unstructured keeping in mind data security and access controls
- Identifies ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management.
- Implement and maintain a data architecture built around automated ingestion, data security, compliance, and governance
- Work closely with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Business analysis and Product Managers to build next generation data solutions.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of technology industry experience
- Proficiency in building data pipelines and solutions in Python and/or Kotlin
- Deep understanding of relation, non-relational, time series and vector driven database / storage solutions
- Experience building large scale data pipelines, build data models, normalize and standardize data for the use by various consumers and analysts
- Experience working with PCI, CCPA, GDPR and similar data privacy regulations.
- Ideally experience with cockroach db , snowflake and kafka
- Prior experience working with Analytics, Data Science and Product teams.

Grade level and salary ranges are determined primarily through the scope and complexity of the role along with a review of the applicant’s experience and skills, as well as alignment with geographic market data and equity with other team members.
