About The Role:
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Manager to lead multiple platform engineering teams. The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing and scaling DevOps teams, driving innovation, scalability, and operational excellence. This role requires both technical leadership and strategic oversight to ensure reliable and efficient infrastructure.
The current DevOps team at Panasonic Well is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure for our engineering and testing functions. This also includes executing on architecture, automation, implementation, and troubleshooting. The team works to unblock developers, enhance the CD pipeline, and aims to improve CI pipelines in the future.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Lead and mentor current DevOps team.
- Define and drive strategic technical roadmaps, ensuring timely and efficient product delivery.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure to improve cost efficiency and system performance.
- Oversee talent development, refining recruiting processes, and ensuring strong team growth in our infrastructure functions.
- Lead major system re-architecture projects to enhance scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to align technical efforts with business goals.
- Drive CI/CD automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) best practices.
- Monitor and adopt emerging industry trends to enhance efficiency of infrastructure.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering leadership roles, with a strong focus on infrastructure management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring engineers.
- Proven ability to scale DevOps teams while implementing structured hiring processes.
- Experience managing teams across cloud engineering and infrastructure operations.
- Strong technical background in SaaS architecture, infrastructural best practices, and automation.
- Proficiency in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
- Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
- Ability to adapt to shifting business needs and evolving technologies.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and software delivery best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service architectures.

- Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Nice-to-have skills:
- Background in real-time applications, chat systems, or messaging platforms.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, including model deployment and optimization.
- Familiarity with MLOps best practices, optimizing model training and inference pipelines.

Grade level and salary ranges are determined primarily through the scope and complexity of the role along with a review of the applicant’s experience and skills, as well as alignment with geographic market data and equity with other team members.
