Junior Verse Developer

  • Requirements
    • 1.5+ years with Verse & UEFN [OR] 3+ years of experience programming in a team environment within game engines or editors such as Godot, UE or Unity with a working understanding of Verse
    • 1-2 years in UGC ecosystems is a plus (e.g. Roblox, Fortnite, or Minecraft)
  • Responsibilities
    • The ability to learn, & maintain existing / new projects passed down from other teams.
    • Implement gameplay mechanics using Verse (Epics new language currently only used in UEFN)
    • Develop and extend flexible progression systems
    • Implement UI using Unreal Motion Graphics (UMG) in combination with Verse and Verse UI/Fields
    • Optimize UEFN islands arbitrary memory limits
    • Debug / Fix Technical Issues
  • Nice To Have
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
