About the Role

As Strategy and Operations Manager at Pangea you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of Pangea.  You will drive a structured assessment of the market and competitive landscape for compelling new expansion opportunities leveraging our first party data, conducting secondary research and eliciting qualitative/quantitative user insights.  You should be intensely curious, a customer advocate, highly quantitative, value rigor and be an excellent written and verbal communicator.

As Strategy and Operations Manager, you'll get to:

  • Identify and evaluate new product & market expansion opportunities through competitive assessment, customer research and quantitative analysis
  • Build & communicate business cases to quantify opportunities
  • Develop a structured roadmap of key hypotheses to validate
  • Effectively communicate with executives and the Product team
  • Run quantitative focus groups and qualitative research to validate key assumptions and product/market fit of new product opportunities
  • Be the in-house expert on our customers, competitors, product offerings and industry trends

The ideal candidate will have:

  • An MBA or related degree
  • 10+ years of experience with at least 3 years in Management Consulting or Strategy
  • Experience motivating new direct to consumer product opportunities
  • Excellent research skills, able to size markets & determine benchmarks
  • Highly quantitative, able to quickly assess opportunities and build business cases
  • Communicate clearly, succinctly, and confidently to an executive audience
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others
  • Prior experience managing agencies for customer insights or other research needs
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and propensity to get out of the building to find answers
  • Able to chart out clarity from ambiguity
  • Deep understanding of how customers interact with digital products
  • Prior experience with payments, customer research or segmentation a plus
