Purpose of the Position:
Working across the entire spectrum of Pantheon’s products, the RM will play a key role in servicing existing clients and developing new relationships, with a specific focus on Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand & Greater China.
Reporting to the Head of Asia, the role will support fundraising and relationship development across both Institutional and Wealth channels and will act as a key interface between Pantheon and the local investor community on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential new investors and create a strategy for generating their interest in Pantheon; cultivate relationships with these institutions & wealth channels to successfully raise capital.
- Manage the sales process from sourcing to closing, including negotiation of commercial terms.
- Build the Pantheon brand across both Institutional and Wealth channels within the region.
- Manage and enhance relationships with distribution partners (PWMs, banks, digital platforms, investment consultants etc.).
- Work with Pantheon’s senior management team to ensure a high-quality and well-co-ordinated service to targeted clients.
- Represent Pantheon at industry events and conferences.
- Initiate, execute and host local seminars and roadshows to strengthen the relationship between Pantheon and the local investor community.
- Co-ordination and review of presentation materials, performance data, due diligence materials and RFP content.
- Relay current market trends and client/target feedback to the Pantheon investment teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and Pantheon policy (including reporting compliance risks and maintaining appropriate standards of conduct.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
- Strong track record within Private Markets sales and deep understanding of relevant investment products and strategies across both Institutional and Wealth offerings.
- Natural gravitas and ability to lead client interactions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the credibility to build relationships both internally and externally.
- Extensive and well-established network ideally with strong connections across both Institutional and Wealth channels.
- Clear understanding of both global and local investing trends and challenges.
- Full suite of skills running campaigns and fundraising processes with recent examples of success.
- Experience working within one or more well-regarded private capital firms (in-house, private funds group or placement agent).
- Fluency in an Asian language.
