Purpose of the Position
The purpose of the role is to help drive fundraising campaigns towards a successful outcome. Through collaborative work directly with senior investment team and sales partners, legal and compliance, operations and marketing. Engagement focuses on developing our core marketing materials, refining our strategy messaging, articulating our points of differentiation, directly reporting to partners on fundraising campaigns, and consulting on new fund-set up and product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support upfront strategy and product positioning advice based off experience across multiple investment strategies and asset classes
- Assist where needed in the creation of marketing collateral cover notes, fact sheets, key marketing presentation, standard DDQ and PPM
- Source information for inclusion in key marketing materials and RFPs from multiple stakeholders
- Dissect complex excel documents and data to create simplified excel track record information
- Create target investors lists through interactions with key sales professionals in multiple time zones and data aggregation from Preqin (or other data bases)
- Assist the team with creating a fundraising plan and drive outcomes through direct contact with sales professionals and investment teams
- Filter investor and sales professional feedback into constructive feedback provided to senior partners, investment professionals and broader client service professionals
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and Pantheon policy (including reporting compliance risks and maintaining appropriate standards of conduct
- Coordinate with broader Product Strategy & Fundraising, Global Marketing and Global Compliance teams on the maintenance of marketing collateral
- Ensure compliance sign off for ad-hoc presentations and other marketing materials produced by Pantheon IR colleagues
- Management of Slide Bank and related monthly and quarterly update processes
Knowledge & Experience Required
- Undergraduate degree in economics, business, or finance
- Product knowledge across private markets asset classes and strategies including private equity (including direct buyout, primaries, secondaries, and co-investments), infrastructure, real assets, and private credit; or strong desire to learn and become a subject matter expert
- Private wealth experience a plus
- Advanced capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Ability to confidently interact with key senior stakeholders around the business
