Purpose of Position
The Private Wealth IR candidate will play a key role in expanding the firm’s investor base and deepening relationships with existing clients. This individual will support capital raising efforts, drive outreach to private wealth firms, and collaborate closely with investment, marketing, and operations teams to deliver a high-quality investor experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with RIA’s, Wires, and wealth management platforms.
- Assist in fundraising efforts for current and future private market strategies.
- Manage CRM systems and pipeline tracking for prospective investors and fundraising campaigns.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic business development initiatives.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor meetings, and networking events.
- Work closely with senior leadership to shape the firm’s fundraising strategy and investor communications.
Knowledge and Experience Required
- 3–7 years of experience in business development, investor relations, or capital raising, ideally within private markets or broader asset management.
- Strong understanding of private market investment strategies and the private wealth industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with investors.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses
- MBA, CAIA or CFA designation is a plus.
Expected base salary range: $140,000 - $150,000
Actual base salary is determined by a range of factors including individual experience, skills and qualifications.
In addition to the above salary, Pantheon offers a generous employee benefits package and successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus
