Job Duties

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for over 200 employees across Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec, including both salaried and hourly employees.
  • Enter, review, and process payroll data in ADP and follow up with branch managers regarding timesheets and payroll discrepancies.
  • Prepare regular payroll reports and support management with payroll-related information.
  • Assist with the preparation of T4, T4A, and RL-1 slips, annual filings, and year-end payroll activities.
  • Review payroll records and reports to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable legislation.
  • Support the administration of employee group benefits programs, including health insurance and RRSP plans.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits enrollment, claims, and plan changes.
  • Coordinate benefit enrollment and onboarding processes for new employees.
  • Maintain employee payroll and benefits records in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support HR and payroll-related projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business Management, or Payroll.
  • 3–5 years of payroll and benefits administration experience, preferably in a multi-provincial Canadian payroll environment.
  • Ideally, working towards Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) certification.
  • Sound knowledge of legislation relevant to employment practices and payroll administration.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Fluency in both English and Korean is an asset.

Salary Range

$60,000 - $75,000 CAD
