Logistics Coordinator - Freight Forwarder role

Job Duties

  • Coordinate international import/export shipment schedules with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively manage delays, damages, and other operational issues, including implementing corrective actions
  • Support on-site logistics operations including gate control coordination, escort arrangements, and weekend or urgent issue handling
  • Prepare and review shipping documents and logistics reports with accuracy and compliance
  • Support freight cost estimation, quotation review, invoice verification, and settlement processes
  • Maintain professional communication with internal teams and external stakeholders in English and Korean

 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum: College diploma or higher
  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding preferred
  • Solid understanding of import/export processes and shipment coordination
  • Working proficiency in Korean and English is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in professional email correspondence
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond appropriately to urgent situations
  • Experience with freight forwarding companies or international logistics operations is an asset
  • Experience with customs clearance or cross-border shipping coordination is an asset
  • Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines

Salary Range

$45,000 - $52,000 CAD
