
Staff Accountant
As our Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day accounting operations, the month-end close, and helping to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
As a Series B backed software company, the Staff Accountant will collaborate closely with our business operations and customer-facing teams to ensure a thorough accounts payable and accounts receivable process. You’ll have an impact on the business by assisting in timely and accurate financial reporting.
This role will be based in our Boston HQ and will have a hybrid work model. This is a full-time position, reporting to our Senior Accounting Manager.

You are detail-oriented, a self-starter, and are striving to learn and grow in the role. You are process-oriented, have an affinity for follow-through, and bring tenacity to your work. An outstanding Staff Accountant should also have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Own the accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management and cash receipts processes
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts including cash, prepaids and accruals
- Assist with payroll preparation
- Assist with annual audit process including preparation of audit support and schedules
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel knowledge (eg. pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Thorough knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships (experience with both internal and external preferred)
- A drive for results and a growth mindset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
Preferred:
- Experience with NetSuite
- Background working at a Series B SaaS company
- CPA (current or pending)
