Brand Manager

Summary: The Brand Manager is a dynamic thinker who understands the heart and soul of the Parachute brand and is able to further our vision while developing out of the box / innovative marketing tactics. This role will always be on the hunt for new and exciting opportunities that are centered around storytelling that also have efficiencies and scale. The Brand Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing brand initiatives with a primary focus on building and maintaining an influencer network, developing strategy for organic social channels, supporting PR initiatives and ideating and executing experiential marketing. This role works collaboratively with cross-functional partners, the wider marketing team and external vendors to execute Parachute’s overall brand and marketing strategy.

Location: Culver City, CA — in office M-TH

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage all aspects of the Parachute influencer and brand ambassador program including strategy, budgeting, outreach and day-to-day communication.
  • Measure and track influencer campaign ROI, including engagement rates, sales lift, and brand awareness metrics.
  • Monitor social media metrics, such as follower growth, engagement rate, and website traffic from social channels, to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Work cross functionally with Creative to develop brand messaging on special initiatives, quarterly messaging, partnerships and collaborations. 
  • Manage weekly brand calendar with inspiring themes, product priorities, new launches, promo information, etc, and share cross-functionally
  • Field inbound and outbound partnership and collaboration communications in partnership with B2B partners. 
  • Collaborate with merchandising team to understand product and category priorities quarterly and yearly
  • Liaison with PR teams in support of brand initiatives and sample shipping 
  • Develop strategy and oversee social media tactics from concepts to execution to calendaring. 
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation. Use consumer insights to inform brand strategy and decision-making.

Who You Are:

  • Strong knowledge of brand messaging and creative strategy 
  • 3-5 years working with influencers
  • Social media experience required
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work fast and multi-task
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Experience or passion for home, design or fashion space preferred
  • Management experience desired but not required

Parachute takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.  The estimated pay range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000.
