Your Mission

Step into the future of finance with Paradigm and Paradex! As our Engineering Manager (reporting to the Director of Engineering), you'll lead one or more small, autonomous teams with clear areas of ownership, driving high-impact features across both platforms in our cutting-edge decentralized exchange environment. From conception to launch, you'll enhance processes, align with product vision, and champion a culture of excellence and innovation as your teams rapidly deliver and iterate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead & Inspire: Oversee a team of 5-10 engineers, enhancing performance and spearheading problem resolution.
• Technical Leadership: Ensure the creation of secure, scalable solutions and provide authoritative technical direction.
• Process Innovation: Continuously refine engineering processes to accommodate rapid organizational and market growth.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the Product team to deeply understand and deliver on customer requirements.
• Talent Development: Actively participate in the recruitment and professional growth of top engineering talent.
• Culture Advocate: Build and nurture a culture that is both productive and rewarding, aligning with Paradigm's mission and values.

What You Bring

• Management Experience: At least 2+ years of proven leadership managing technical teams of 10+ people.
• Deep Technical Expertise: Strong background in software engineering with hands-on experience and a passion for product development; we want to see that you’ve built something excellent as an engineer in your career.
• Record of Execution: Demonstrable success in deploying scalable cloud solutions and embracing challenges with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Collaborative Spirit: Experience working closely with senior management and across functional teams to drive results.
• Visionary Leadership: Ability to inspire your team to achieve beyond expectations and implement effective new processes.
• Startup Agility: Comfort with the rapid pace and changing demands of startup environments.
