Your role as part of our Paragon family
- Responsible for day-to-day oversight of a property in Promote a positive work atmosphere through effective and “present” leadership.
- Communicate job expectations by setting goals, mentoring, and evaluating job performance. May require written or verbal coaching and counseling when
disciplining employees, enforcing company policies, procedures, standards, and safety guidelines. - Maintain employee work schedules, time off, audit and approve payroll.
- Attend meetings, training and refresher classes as necessary to effectively mentor, train, and enforce business procedures.
- Conduct staff meetings and communicate company information/policies/processesto staff
- Process vendor invoices timely.
- Annual budget preparation
- Prepares (by appropriate deadlines) all applicable financial and performance reports
- Ensures top-level customer (both internal and external) satisfaction through continuous professional and positive conversations.
- Participates in all aspects of the apartment leasing process, including touring apartments, recording traffic, performing follow-up, and assisting with application processing.
- Performs "quality control" final inspection of all market ready units prior to move-in.
- Ensure the community is rented to optimal capacity and budget expectations.
- Monitor and manage rental rates to maximize income.
- Routinely inspect physical condition of entire community, including common areas, models, and vacant units.
- Addresses all standards and liability issues immediately.
- Oversees the market ready process.
- Monitors maintenance service requests and works closely with Maintenance Supervisor (or designated maintenance representative) to prioritize and complete service requests within company expectations.
- Assist with performing move out inspections of vacant units. Ensure properdocumentation is completed.
- Ensure inspections and preventative maintenance are completed.
Position Requirements
- 1+ years of on-site Leasing Manager or Assistant Manager experience or at least 2+ years of supervisory experience with customer service orientation
- High school diploma or equivalent, college-level education (strongly preferred)
- Industry designations (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, leadership, coaching and conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Possesses superior sales ability
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Basic math skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing assignments and priorities
- Reliable and dependable attendance at the work site
- YARDI experience (preferred)
- Superior knowledgeable of Fair Housing guidelines, state/local/federal laws, and safety compliance.
- We require a pre-employment background check, drug screening and physical before employment begins.
