WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Supervise daily activities of hourly production associates.
- Oversee all aspects of cultivation operations including managing production plans and schedules by assigning daily tasks to cultivation team.
- Follow and implement cultivation SOP’s to drive cultivation process effectiveness.
- Identify current team’s performance and operational gaps and provide alternative solutions to improve practices.
- Enforces adherence to Quality, Safety, and Compliance requirements as defined by Parallel and government agencies.
- Train new team member on Parallel’s cultivation practices and techniques.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
- 3+ years of experience in the cultivation industry, horticulture, or agriculture.
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience leading teams.
- Understanding of cannabis genetics and plant characteristics.
- Experience in introducing new varieties of plants and regional cultivation knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in windows-based software, relevant software systems, and Internet navigation.
- Age 21 or over (Required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Required)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to push, pull and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks in small spaces that can be high in heat, high in humidity, wet or dry.
- Exposure to extreme hot and humid temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the duration of the shift.
- The ability to wear personal protective gear during portions of the day.
- The ability to ascend/descend a ladder.
