The Retail Operations & Training Manager is a key leader supporting the performance, consistency, and capability of our Massachusetts and Texas retail stores. This role acts as the bridge between our Market teams and our centralized Operations, Systems, and Business Partners.
The manager partners with Retail Operational Partners and Human Resources stakeholders to build, coordinate, and deliver market-specific, needs-based operational programs and training. Success in this role can be measured by whether our teams have the skills, clarity, tools, and support needed to do their jobs exceptionally — and whether our stores operate with consistency, compliance, and efficiency.
This role owns the rollout and adoption of operational systems, workflows, new feature launches, and process improvements, ensuring changes are well-communicated, well-trained, and successfully implemented in stores.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Operational Leadership & Program Execution
Serve as the primary liaison between the Massachusetts & Texas market and centralized Retail Operations, Systems, and cross-functional support teams.
- Coordinate and manage the rollout of new systems, tools, and programs, including testing, training, troubleshooting, communication, and adoption tracking.
- Lead communication and execution plans for new feature launches, policy updates, and operational standards.
- Collect, prioritize, and communicate market feedback and feature requests that enhance customer experience, team efficiency, and operational consistency.
- Conduct store operational assessments and develop corrective action plans with Store and District leaders.
- Maintain, update, and communicate SOPs, job aids, retail playbooks, and workflows to ensure standardization and clarity across stores.
Training & Capability Development
Own the training strategy for Massachusetts & Texas retail, emphasizing onboarding, retail fundamentals, customer experience, leadership development, and process proficiency.
- Build and deliver training in multiple formats (in-store, virtual, self-paced, job aids, micro-learning).
- Support Store and SR Leaders in coaching, performance reinforcement, and consistent use of operational tools.
- Manage training resources and reporting in the Learning Management System (LMS) and measure behavior change and adoption.
- Evaluate training and operational outcomes and adjust programming based on insights and impact.
Cross-Functional Influence & Communication
Partner with HR, Compliance, Product, Customer Experience, and Market Leadership to ensure initiatives support business priorities.
- Translate operational needs and store feedback into market-informed, people-centered solutions.
- Promote a culture of consistency, accountability, team development, and operational excellence.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
Required
- 5+ years in multi-unit retail operations, retail enablement, or retail training leadership.
- Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
- Age 21 or over
- High School Diploma
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
- Demonstrated experience leading store-level change adoption or system/process rollouts.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to extract insights from operational data and convert them into action.
- Highly organized project coordination and follow-through.
- Ability to work with excel data, data capture, and data analysis
- Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
- Knowledge of organizational policies and operations management
- Technical writing skills
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to travel up to 75% of time
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, and perform weighing, counting, calculating, and computer processing operations.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements & tasks.

$94,350 - $132,090 USD
