CURRENT CULTIVATION OPENINGS
Cultivation Team Member
Schedule Requirements: Monday through Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM
Cultivation Team Members assist in the growing and cultivation of medical and recreational cannabis. Performs select tasks in the cultivation process and is a hands on, entry level role in the Cultivation Department.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Maintains plant Cultivation by following Parallel’s Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state medical and recreational cannabis regulations
- Work closely with the Cultivation Supervisors/other team members on some elements of cultivation and production
- Provide water and nutrients appropriately to ensure sustainable growth
- Accurately weight and measure nutrient and water needs
- Assists in transplants/restocking of vegetative rooms/transferring to flower rooms
- Properly sets up trellis and ties up plant limbs appropriately
- Fills out logbooks accurately
- Consistently checks plant weights to ensure proper saturation levels
- Completing plant work in a timely manner and accurately
- Performs all other tasks as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
Required

Age 21 or over

Valid Government-Issued Photo ID

Ability to calculate and record measurements

Ability to accurately read and interpret directions in English

Ability to understand and follow directions

Ability to focus and be task oriented, complete tasks with minimal oversight

Can take direction well; great communication skills

Must be proficient with measurements at all times

Ability to work independently or as a team member, be organized and have extreme attention to detail
Preferred
-
Minimum of 6+ months agricultural or cultivation experience, specifically with cannabis
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
-
Ability to work in an indoor growing environment which includes dry, hot, and humid conditions and extended exposure to monitored Co2 environments.
-
Requires the ability to stand, kneel, sit or stoop for prolonged periods of time, with constant attention to detail for 10 hours per day.
-
Ability to lift up to 50lbs. unassisted and up to 80lbs assisted.

Ability to perform dexterous hand movement for 8-10 hours per day.
-
Ability to wear required PPE for duration of shift.
Environmental Services Technician
Schedule Requirements: Monday through Friday, 12PM to 8:30PM
The Environmental Services Technician I is responsible for day-to-day custodial and disposal work at the cultivation facility.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
-
Follow Parallel Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations.

Safely uses and stores cleaning materials ensuring they are labeled correctly.

Disposes of cannabis waste properly.
-
Performs cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, vacuuming rugs, washing walls and glass, emptying trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans.

Cleans & services restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
-
Restocks supplies.
-
Notifies Facilities Management of any necessary repairs.
-
Monitors building security and safety by performing tasks including locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure hazards are not created.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING
Required

Age 21 or over

0-2 Years of experience in Custodial and/or Environmental Services duties.

Ability to calculate and document weight and percentage measures.

Ability to understand and follow directions.

Takes initiative to perform tasks and is self-motivated.

Knowledge of proper PPE practices.

Attentiveness and detail oriented.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift up to 50lbs. unassisted and up to 80lbs assisted.

Hand and eye coordination with extreme attention to detail.
-
Exposure to greenhouse environments that exceed temperatures of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
Must be able to stand, squat, and kneel for long periods of time in small spaces that can be high in heat, high in humidity, wet or dry.
-
Exposure to water during the duration of the shift is common with cannabis growing environments.
Trim Tech I
Schedule Requirements: Monday through Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM
The Trim Technician I role is an integral part of the Harvest Department’s success on a daily basis. The Trim Technician I is responsible for wet trimming 15-25 harvested cannabis plants on a daily basis as well as assist with dry trimming, de-sticking and various other tasks to meet daily production goals.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Follow NETA Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations
- Adheres to weekly production requirements as set by Supervisor
- Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity
- Working with a large team of 8-16 Trim Technicians on a daily basis
- Wet trimming 15-30 cannabis plants per day
- De-sticking based on the production needs of the day
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in order to improve and promote quality
- Quality checking and processing of wet and dry marijuana plants
- Maintains time and attendance and all other conduct related requirements at all times
- Cleaning equipment thoroughly and maintaining and organized work area
- All other duties as assigned
