About the Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated Survey Technician to join our Bend team and support a variety of infrastructure projects including site civil development, transportation improvements, and resort community projects.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors and wants to develop skills in both field and office surveying environments.
This position provides a balance of field work and office experience, with opportunities to grow in both areas over time.
Located in Bend, this role offers the opportunity to build your career while enjoying year-round outdoor recreation.
Your Role on the Team:
- Conduct boundary and topographic surveys in support of transportation infrastructure and land development projects.
- Perform construction staking for civil, transportation, data center and resort community projects.
- Collect, analyze, and process field data using GPS, robotic total stations, and related survey equipment.
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness while maintaining compliance with applicable standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to deliver timely, high-quality survey results.
- Maintain survey equipment and uphold safety standards in the field.
- Develop skills in office workflows including data processing, drafting, and QA/QC.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Field experience in land surveying preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with GPS, robotic total stations, and data collectors.
- Understanding of boundary, topo, and construction staking survey practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage priorities across multiple projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites around Central Oregon.
- LSIT certification preferred or equivalent experience.

Hourly Range
$33 - $38 USD
Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
