We are looking for motivated and curious students to join our Summer 2027 Internship Program! Each summer, Parametrix welcomes approximately 10–20 interns across our offices, providing meaningful opportunities to gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and explore careers in the consulting industry.
As a 100% employee-owned firm, we believe in investing in the next generation of professionals. Our interns work alongside experienced employee-owners, contribute to real projects, and gain valuable insight into how we collaborate with clients and communities to create lasting solutions.
We anticipate internship opportunities across a variety of disciplines, including:
- Civil and Other Engineering Disciplines: Transportation, water, structural, environmental, and other engineering specialties.
- Environmental Sciences: Environmental studies, natural resources, permitting, and related fields.
- Planning: Transportation, environmental, community, and infrastructure planning.
- Construction Management: Construction engineering, inspection, project coordination, and construction management.
- Surveying: Land surveying, field data collection, mapping, and related technical services.
- Advisory Services: Management consulting, infrastructure and capital program strategy, financial and data analysis, organizational improvement, and strategic planning.
Our summer internships are typically full-time, in-person opportunities based in one of our offices. Specific locations, disciplines, and positions will be determined as we finalize our summer staffing needs.
