MBA Summer Intern

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated MBA Intern to join our Finance team in Philadelphia. This internship is ideal for MBA candidates with 2–4 years of professional experience, strong business acumen, and a consulting mindset. As an MBA Intern, you will take ownership of critical projects, work closely with cross-functional business units, and drive insights that influence ParetoHealth's financial strategy and operations.

Competencies desired:

•    Consulting Skills: Ability to approach projects with a strategic and solutions-oriented mindset.
•    Finance Expertise: Strong understanding of financial principles, operations, and business strategy.
•    Leadership & Independence: Demonstrated ability to lead projects and deliver results with minimal supervision.
•    Collaboration & Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to partner effectively with cross-functional teams.
•    Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with ERP systems or financial tools is a plus.
•    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.

What you will do:

•    Lead and execute strategic finance projects, working independently with minimal oversight.
•    Collaborate with various business units (BUs) to analyze financial and operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
•    Develop and present actionable recommendations based on data analysis, market research, and business insights.
•    Support consulting-style initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiencies, and optimize financial outcomes.
•    Partner with the Finance and Operations teams to develop models, tools, and reports to support key decision-making.
•    Provide thought leadership on business strategy, financial planning, and operational excellence

About you: 

•    Currently enrolled in an MBA program with a focus on Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 
•    Ability to work in our Philadelphia, PA office beginning in June through approximately August.
•     2–4 years of professional experience in finance, consulting, or business operations.
•     Experience managing projects and delivering high-quality outcomes independently.
