Role
Parsec’s TrakSYS™ MES software application is a flexible, scalable, and powerful solution platform to help our clients address their complex manufacturing operations challenges. Many of the largest manufacturing companies worldwide use TrakSYS™ to improve their operational productivity. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be expected to develop, execute, and document our software testing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document software Test Plans and Test Cases
- Execute Test Plans and document Test Case results
- Identify, log, and facilitate resolution of suspected issues with functional and technical groups
- Design, develop, and execute automated tests
- Maintain and enhance test frameworks for continuous integration and delivery
- Conduct manual and exploratory testing as needed to identify defects and ensure product quality
- Learn and understand the TrakSYS software suite to facilitate testing activities
- Learn and adapt to the Parsec culture and QA methodologies/processes
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field
Technical Skills
- Understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
- Understanding of modern software engineering including web technologies, continuous integration, cloud computing, and automation development
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps Testing Tools or equivalent platform
- Proficiency with Automated Testing Tools such as Selenium or Playwright
- Familiarity with the following technologies:
- Microsoft Windows Client and Server Operating Systems
- .NET Programming
- SQL Server
- HTML
- Scripting languages such as JavaScript
- GIT
- XML

Compensation / Benefits
- 75-90K DOE
