Director of Clinical Product

New York, New York, United States; Remote

Director of Clinical Product

Remote (US) will be considered, with a strong preference for candidates in the NYC metro area who can commute to our NYC office 2 to 3 days per week. For those full remote, it is ideal that you are EST based and/or able to regularly work an EST schedule. This role reports to the CTO.

About Parsley Health

Parsley Health is rebuilding primary care around root-cause, whole-person medicine. Our members get board-certified clinicians, health coaches, advanced testing, and a care platform that connects the dots across all of it.

The Moment

Care delivery includes essential work that should not require so much manual effort. Clinicians and care teams need tools that help them prepare, coordinate, document, and follow through on care without adding friction to their day.

We are hiring a product leader to own that challenge. This role will shape the systems, workflows, and tools that enable our clinical and care teams to spend more of their time delivering high-quality care and less of it managing administrative work.

This is an opportunity to work on some of the most important operational and clinical challenges at Parsley. The work you lead will help determine how our teams deliver care at scale while preserving the quality, thoughtfulness, and personal connection that make the Parsley experience distinct.

The Role

As Director, Clinical Product, you will be the senior product leader responsible for the roadmap that makes care delivery more efficient across Parsley.

You will work directly with clinicians, care teams, Clinical Operations, Engineering, Security, and other partners to understand how care is actually delivered today, identify where workflows break down, and turn those insights into high-impact product solutions.

Your north star is simple: increase the share of care-team time spent on care rather than administration.

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. You will lead through strong product judgment, clear communication, and the ability to bring a cross-functional team together around the right problems. You will partner closely with a product designer, engineering team, and supporting functions to take clinical workflow improvements from discovery through rollout and adoption.

You will also help guide Parsley’s clinical tooling and EMR strategy, including evaluating vendors, identifying integration opportunities, and making practical recommendations about when to build, buy, or improve existing systems.

What you'll do in your first 6 months

Build a deep understanding of how care is delivered at Parsley. Spend time shadowing clinicians and care teams, conducting interviews, reviewing workflow data, and identifying where administrative work creates friction, delays, or unnecessary burden.

Develop and prioritize a clinical product roadmap. Translate care-delivery needs into clear product opportunities, define what matters most, and make thoughtful tradeoffs between clinician experience, operational efficiency, member experience, and business impact.

Ship high-leverage workflow improvements. Lead the development of tools and automation that reduce manual work, improve visit preparation, streamline documentation, and make it easier for teams to deliver coordinated care.

Own EMR and clinical tooling strategy. Evaluate opportunities to improve existing EMR capabilities, assess vendors and tools, guide integration decisions, and make practical recommendations about when to build, buy, or improve what already exists.

Drive adoption, not just delivery. Partner with Clinical Operations and care teams to create rollout plans, training, documentation, and feedback loops that help new tools become part of day-to-day workflows.

Measure impact. Define success metrics for each initiative and build a clear view of whether the work is increasing the share of care-team time spent on care rather than administration.

What we're looking for

Primary requirements

  • A strong track record of building products for clinical care delivery, healthcare operations, or care teams.
  • Product management experience at a care-delivery company, health system, virtual-care company, clinical-services organization, or similarly complex healthcare environment.
  • Hands-on experience evaluating, building, improving, or integrating EMRs and other clinician-facing tools.
  • Deep empathy for clinicians and care teams. You understand the realities of delivering great care and can recognize when a seemingly simple product decision creates unnecessary burden in a clinical workflow.
  • Excellent product judgment. You can distinguish between a real workflow problem and a feature request, define the smallest meaningful solution, and make thoughtful decisions in ambiguous environments.
  • A strong understanding of care delivery from end to end, including the operational and administrative work required before, during, and after a patient visit.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills. You can write strong product briefs and requirements, explain complex decisions simply, and create alignment across clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders.
  • A practical, patient safety focused approach to product development. You understand the importance of HIPAA, clinical data privacy, and thoughtful safeguards for tools that affect care delivery.

Important, but not the most critical

  • Telehealth or virtual-care delivery experience.
  • Experience working in a startup or other small, fast-moving environment with broad scope and limited structure.
  • Experience leading cross-functional product work through influence rather than direct management.
  • Experience with workflow automation, AI-enabled tools, or operational systems that reduce repetitive administrative work.
  • Comfort partnering closely with engineers and designers to move from discovery through delivery.
  • Experience leading change management, training, rollout, and adoption for new clinical workflows or technology.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Generous compensation package based on experience

  • Equity stake for all employees based on role level

  • 401(k) + Employer Matching program

  • Hybrid opportunity with remote work and on-site time at our NYC HQ

  • Complimentary Parsley Health Complete Care membership

  • Subsidized Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plan options

  • Generous flexible time off plan

  • Annual professional development stipend

  • Annual wellness stipend

Parsley Health is committed to providing an equitable, fair and transparent compensation program for all employees.

The starting salary for this role is between $165,000 and $195,000, depending on skills and experience. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location.

Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced or more senior than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated with candidates during the process.

Form CC-305

Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
