Position Overview:
Passes is seeking an experienced quality assurance specialist who has strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure that the Passes platform is robust, fast, secure, and user-friendly by conducting thorough testing. This role will help maintain the high-quality standards that our creators and fans expect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough platform and app testing across web, iOS, and Android applications ensuring they function as intended across different environments.
  • Perform feature and UI testing to validate new features and enhancements, ensuring they meet requirements and user expectations
  • Execute load and stress testing to determine the limits of the application under varying user traffic, identifying potential bottlenecks and performance issues.
  • Test applications under varying latency and network conditions to ensure they function well in diverse network environments.
  • Report bugs and issues promptly, providing clear and concise documentation of the problems, their severity, and potential impact on users.
  • Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to support issue resolution, ensuring that bugs are addressed and verified in a timely manner.
  • Provide detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Diligent approach to testing and QA
  • Organization and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new software tools
  • Understanding of user needs and situations
  • 2+ years of industry experience
  • Experience working with mobile applications
  • Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment preferred
