Pathstream is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to build highly scalable solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth, ensure application performance, and contribute to the development of the Engineering team.

This is a full-time, salaried position and reports to an Engineering Manager.

THE ROLE

  • Work across the full stack, building highly scalable solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
  • Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and B2B product requirements.
  • Contribute to efforts in modernizing core systems, ensuring that the platform stays up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices to remain scalable and competitive.
  • Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
  • Support end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications.
  • Collaborate closely with product management and design teams to define and refine feature requirements, ensuring the delivery of products that meet business objectives and improve customer experiences.
  • Participate in code reviews and pairing sessions, promoting high coding standards.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for technical improvements, advocate for best practices, and contribute to a culture of excellence.

ABOUT YOU

  • 3-5 years of full-stack engineering experience in high-growth environments, ideally within B2B or SaaS companies.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and making data-driven decisions to achieve business metrics.
  • Highly collaborative, thriving in team environments where you can contribute to the development and success of others.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in key technologies such as Ruby on Rails, React, Javascript, Docker, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
  • Curious or some hands-on experience with GenAI tools and excitement to gain more production experience

Salary:

  • Zone 1: $130k-$143 (SF, NYC metro)
  • Zone 2: $109K-$120K
  • Zone 3: $104K-$115K
