We are seeking a highly skilled and specialized Senior Technical Recruiter to lead technical talent acquisition for our fast-growing organization. This role focuses on attracting, evaluating, and closing top-tier candidates for engineering, data science, product, and other technical roles across the company. You will play a critical role in shaping our technical hiring strategy, ensuring we remain competitive in a rapidly evolving tech landscape. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, technical leadership, and executive stakeholders to drive a scalable, equitable, and high-performing recruitment process.
This is a part-time, contract role with flexible hours (up to 40 per week), reporting to Chandi Harris, Sr. HR and People Operations Manager. Based on performance and business needs, this role has the potential to evolve into a full-time opportunity.

What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end technical recruiting efforts for high-impact roles in software engineering, product management, data, and technical leadership.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to technical teams—consulting on role scoping, interview design, and leveling.
- Build and manage a strong, diverse technical talent pipeline through targeted sourcing strategies and partnerships.
- Partner with engineering and product leadership to ensure hiring processes are calibrated to technical competencies and aligned with business objectives.
- Own and optimize our use of ATS tools (Greenhouse), integrating performance metrics and reporting insights to stakeholders.
- Champion inclusive hiring by embedding DEI best practices into sourcing, assessments, and candidate experience.
- Stay ahead of the curve on industry trends, compensation shifts, and talent market dynamics, using data to inform recruiting strategies.
- Assist in developing and enhancing best practices in the overall Pathstream recruitment process through strategic thinking and excellent documentation.
About You
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to technical roles at high-growth or tech-focused companies.
- Proven success recruiting for software engineering, product, data science, and technical leadership roles (e.g., Staff Engineer, VP of Engineering).
- Strong knowledge of technical stacks, assessment frameworks, and hiring bar calibration.
- Adept at influencing stakeholders, including SVP-level leaders, with strong business and technical acumen.
- Deep understanding of U.S. employment law, particularly as it pertains to technical and remote hiring practices.
- Highly analytical with experience using data to track metrics and improve pipeline conversion.
- Tools-savvy—experienced with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google Suite, Slack.
- A DEI advocate who builds inclusive pipelines and creates equitable hiring processes.

- Competitive hourly compensation based on location and expertise:
- Tier 1 city (SF or NYC): $55-70 per hour
- Tier 2 city: $50-62 per hour
- Tier 3 city $45-55 per hour
