About the Role:

We’re seeking a Product Line Manager to own the strategy, governance, and commercialization of our commercial and consumer lending product portfolio offered through Sponsor Bank partnerships. You will set the product guidelines, drive new solution launches end‑to‑end, optimize existing offerings, and ensure alignment with risk, compliance, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a builder who thrives at the intersection of credit, payments, fintech partnerships, and regulated bank programs.

What You Will Do:

Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Define and maintain the product line strategy across consumer and small business lending products (e.g., installment loans, lines of credit, charge cards, hybrid debit/credit constructs, and embedded credit features).
  • Create and steward Product Guidelines (eligibility, pricing, fees, underwriting guardrails, customer experience standards, servicing/collections, account lifecycle rules).
  • Build product roadmaps based on customer feedback and industry analysis.

Commercialization & GTM

  • Lead end‑to‑end commercialization: business case, positioning, value proposition, packaging, channel enablement, launch playbooks, and sales collateral.
  • Partner with program managers, fintechs, processors, and networks to shape compelling sponsor‑backed lending solutions.
  • Orchestrate cross‑functional launch squads (Sales, Marketing, Legal/Compliance, Risk, Credit, Operations, Technology).

Governance & Compliance

  • Maintain product controls with Risk/Compliance: regulatory implications, operating procedures, change management, and control evidence (disclosures, policy references, testing outcomes).
  • Ensure product designs meet applicable Reg Z, UDAAP principles, fair lending, data privacy, servicing and collections standards, and applicable Reg E touchpoints when the lending product interacts with asset accounts (e.g., card‑accessed hybrid features).
  • Drive issue management and root‑cause remediation for product, servicing, and customer outcomes; manage product audits/exams in partnership with Compliance.

Partnerships & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Serve as product SME to Sales for opportunity shaping; co‑author proposals and RFP responses.
  • Align with Technology on build/buy/partner decisions; author epics/user stories; ensure high‑quality product requirements and traceability to controls.
  • Represent the product line in steering committees and risk councils; present updates to senior leadership.

What You Will Need:

  • 7+ years in Product Management, Product Strategy, or Credit/Lending Product roles within a regulated financial institution or fintech partnership model.
  • Hands‑on experience launching and scaling lending products (consumer or SMB), including underwriting collaboration, pricing, servicing, and lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to build product guidelines/policies and to lead commercialization across cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong grasp of bank program operations and partner ecosystems (processors, networks, fintech platforms).
  • Demonstrated familiarity with U.S. regulatory frameworks relevant to lending (e.g., Reg Z, fair lending, UDAAP) and operational touchpoints (e.g., Reg E when the access device interacts with asset accounts, privacy, collections standards).
  • Data‑driven decision maker with competency in building business cases, reading credit performance metrics, and presenting executive‑level recommendations.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in Sponsor Bank models, BIN sponsorship, or embedded finance/credit with fintech partners.
  • Exposure to hybrid debit/credit constructs (e.g., card‑accessed LOC features) and commercialization in multi‑party arrangements.
  • Familiarity with statement/disclosure design, marketing compliance review, and model risk management practices.
  • Strong network in agent banks, program managers, networks (Visa/Mastercard), and core processors.

Competencies

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences- executives, technical trams, partners, and clients- through concise written documentation, compelling presentations, and confident verbal delivery.
  • Strategic Thinking & Execution: Converts vision to tangible outcomes.
  • Regulatory Acumen: Navigates complex rules; designs compliant customer journeys.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership: Influences without authority; excellent communication.
  • Analytical Rigor: Turns data into insights and action.
  • Customer‑Centricity: Builds intuitive, fair, and transparent products.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong process design, documentation, and risk controls.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
