About the Role:
Responsible strategy, governance, and commercialization of our commercial and consumer lending product portfolio offered through Sponsor Bank partnerships. This role will set the product guidelines, drive new solution launches end to end, optimize existing offerings, and ensure alignment with risk, compliance, and excellence. This role is ideal for a builder who thrives at the intersection of credit, payments, fintech partnerships, and regulated bank programs.
What You Will Do:
- Defines and maintains the product line strategy across consumer and small business lending products (e.g., installment loans, lines of credit, charge cards, hybrid debit/credit constructs, and embedded credit features).
- Creates and stewards Product Guidelines (eligibility, pricing, fees, underwriting guardrails, customer experience standards, servicing/collections, account lifecycle rules).
- Builds product roadmaps based on customer feedback and industry analysis.
- Leads end to end commercialization: business case, positioning, value proposition, packaging, channel enablement, launch playbooks, and sales collateral.
- Partners with program managers, fintechs, processors, and networks to shape compelling sponsor backed lending solutions.
- Orchestrates cross functional launch squads (Sales, Marketing, Legal/Compliance, Risk, Credit, Operations, Technology).
- Maintains product controls with Risk/Compliance: regulatory implications, operating procedures, change management, and control evidence (disclosures, policy references, testing outcomes).
- Ensures product designs meet applicable Reg Z, UDAAP principles, fair lending, data privacy, servicing and collections standards, and applicable Reg E touchpoints when the lending product interacts with asset accounts (e.g., card accessed hybrid features).
- Drives issue management and root cause remediation for product, servicing, and customer outcomes; manage product audits/exams in partnership with Serves as product SME to Sales for opportunity shaping; co author proposals and RFP responses.
- Aligns with Technology on build/buy/partner decisions; author epics/user stories; ensure high quality product requirements and traceability to controls.
- Represents the product line in steering committees and risk councils; present updates to senior leadership.

What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience. Master's degree preferred.
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s or equivalent.
- Hands on experience launching and scaling lending products (consumer or SMB), including underwriting collaboration, pricing, servicing, and lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to build product guidelines/policies and to lead commercialization across cross functional teams.
- Strong grasp of bank program operations and partner ecosystems (processors, networks, fintech platforms).
- Demonstrated familiarity with U.S. regulatory frameworks relevant to lending (e.g., Reg Z, fair lending, UDAAP) and operational touchpoints (e.g., Reg E when the access device interacts with asset accounts, privacy, collections standards).

Salary range: $104,000– $174,000
The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
