At Pathways For Life, we create possibilities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide a wide range of supports including in-home care services, day programs, employment services, and residential solutions that empower individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives.

We are seeking a Program Director to lead and grow our Tucson market. This role is responsible for the overall performance, compliance, and team leadership of our programs in the region. The Program Director reports directly to the President. We are looking for a people-first leader who takes ownership of results, develops strong teams, and drives operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Lead all operations for the Tucson market, including in-home services and day program operations.
• Oversee service delivery, provider/family relationships, and operational performance
• Monitor key operational metrics and implement improvements to ensure quality, efficiency and growth.

Team Leadership & Development

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop office staff and managers
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission-driven service.
• Maintain strong communication and engagement across the Tucson team

Program Growth

• Drive growth in HCBS member enrollment and provider recruitment while maintaining a high standard of care.
• Oversee performance and expansion of the DTA day program.
• Develop relationships with support coordinators, referral partners, and community stakeholders.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Ensure services meet safety, quality, and person-centered planning standards.
• Ensure full compliance up to company standards and meet all Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) requirements

 

Qualifications

Required

• Leadership experience in IDD, behavioral health, home care, or human services.
• Experience managing teams and operational programs.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, and teams simultaneously.
• Commitment to person-centered services and mission-driven work.

Preferred

• Experience working with Arizona DDD programs.
• Experience with HCBS services or day programs.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience leading program growth and managing performance metrics.

 

Compensation

• Total Compensation: $60,000 – $100,000
• Base Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 DOE
• Annual Bonus Potential: Up to $20,000 based on performance
