Title: Account Services Intern, OHG Summer 2023 Internship Program

Overview:

Account Services internship with an agency in the Omnicom Health Group network.  We are looking for interns that are open to exploring new ideas & opportunities, making bold leaps that will push boundaries, and are generous with their ideas, time, and passion. In addition to tackling real client work, interns will have the opportunity to work on cross-agency projects with fellow interns, go on a fieldtrip or two, eat lots of great food, and attend breakfast & learn programming hosted by OHG leaders. 

The Account Intern will act as an internal day-to-day contact for tasks related to workflow and process for digital and print projects.  This role will enable you to learn what it takes to execute a job from start to finish and how to communicate effectively with cross- functional partners. Through extensive learning opportunities, varied disciplinary exposures and team-based projects, a Brand Coordinator will prepare for a career in Healthcare communications.

 

Responsibilities:

  • While working closely with Account and Project Management, you will:
    • Develop a strong understanding of the internal routing processes to effectively traffic projects through their life cycle
    • Understand project documentation such as: Project Plan to develop Timelines, Project Briefs, Project Scope, etc. 
    • Learn to effectively communicate with each department
  • Daily responsibilities start with:
    • Leading daily hotsheet meetings to ensure all departments are aligned on each projects status and hot deliverables of the day
    • Opening job numbers
    • Applying your understanding of the internal process to route jobs to the appropriate department given the projects current stage
  • The team also relies on you to: 
    • Confirm all required approvals are received (when applicable) prior to advancing a project on to the next stage of its life cycle
    • Ensure the team is following the proper routing sequence in a timely fashion
    • Provide mid-day updates on the progress of each job
  • This role helps you advance by:
    • Giving you daily exposure to all departments, you will identify your strengths amd have a better feel for which department best suits your interests 
    • Providing you with trainings, internal recourses, and exceptional mentors
    • Offering you the flexibility to be more involved in what you love about the industry

 

Experience:

College students in their junior or senior year are encouraged to apply.

 

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

  • $18-$20/HR
