We are looking for a leader who will help lead healthcare consumer brands to greater heights through their strategies.

 Responsibilities:

  • Brand Leadership:
    • Strategic brand steward for your respective brand(s)
    • Develop and deploy breakthrough brand strategies across multiple clients.
    • Lead integrated strategy teams, uncover customer insights, and identify strategic opportunities.
    • Champion bold creative ideas and lead brainstorm sessions for new products and marketing ideas.
    • Ability to both lead with a point of view and actively listen to drive alignment across team and clients
    • An active participant in strategic client meetings, providing a clear and supported point of view
  • Research and Insights:
    • Design and manage research projects, analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
    • Support client market research needs, providing input to client’s research vendor on design and generating actionable insights from the research
    • Maintain deep understanding of the market opportunity, competitive dynamics, clinical landscape, customer segments, customer motivators/barriers, and brand differentiators for assigned brands
    • Use insights to drive client decisions and optimize program development.
  • Brand and creative development
    • Defines branded/unbranded platform, brand personality, positioning, creative platform, and key strategies throughout the lifecycle of the brand
    • Designs and moderates key strategic working sessions with clients
    • Supports the Creative Team throughout the creative development process (provides research results and other stimulus materials)
  • Team Development:
    • Build, mentor, and lead a best-in-class strategy team.
    • Oversee direct reports, train and develop team members, and ensure high-quality work products.
  • Agency Leadership:
    • Contribute to agency’s strategy and culture.
    • Network to open new opportunities and lead strategy for new business pitches.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with medical, engagement strategy, creative, PM, and other departments to deliver on business goals.

Experience:

  • 8+ years in strategy with experience in direct-to-consumer brands (in-and-out of healthcare)
  • Proven ability to develop brand strategies and lead integrated teams.
  • Management of launch and mature brand strategies.
  • Strong background in partnering with medical, engagement/social, and media teams for strategic recommendations.
  • Enthusiastic about understanding new disease categories and treatments.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and strategic storytelling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and accounts simultaneously.
  • Ability to “connect the dots” across inputs to generate organic business opportunities
  • In person client travel may be required.

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
