How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead, coach, and develop the Medicare & ACA team through effective recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and professional development initiatives.
- Support client enrollment activities and provide guidance on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Part D, ACA Marketplace, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, and other Individual Market products.
- Monitor and analyze team performance, enrollment activity, sales metrics, and productivity to identify opportunities for improvement and business growth.
- Review commission reporting and sales activity to ensure accuracy while partnering with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and execute community outreach, referral partnerships, and networking strategies that strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, FMOs, community organizations, and referral sources while coordinating educational and product training opportunities.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with CMS regulations, HIPAA requirements, state and federal guidelines, and internal policies through oversight, auditing, and team education.
- Collaborate with agency leadership to enhance operations, improve workflows, and support strategic growth initiatives.

What You Bring
Day One:
- 3+ years of experience in Medicare, ACA, or Individual Market health insurance sales.
- Active New York Life & Health Insurance License.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Part D, ACA Marketplace plans, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, and Individual Market enrollment processes.
- Thorough understanding of CMS regulations, HIPAA requirements, and applicable state and federal compliance standards.
- Experience managing client enrollment activities and supporting health insurance consumers through plan selection and enrollment.
- Experience using CRM platforms, enrollment systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management abilities.
Valuable Additions:
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or team management experience.
- AHIP certification.
- Medicare and ACA product certifications.
- Experience developing business growth, referral, or community outreach initiatives.
- Experience managing commissions, sales reporting, or operational performance metrics.
- Established relationships within the Medicare, ACA, healthcare, or community outreach landscape.
- Experience partnering with insurance carriers, FMOs, and community organizations to support business growth and consumer education.
