The Rev Org @ Pave

The Revenue Operations Team supports business growth across our Revenue (Sales & Post-Sales), Marketing, Partnerships, and Product teams, ensuring every Pave customer has an exceptional experience.

The Deal Desk is a critical function within Revenue Operations, responsible for accelerating revenue growth by supporting our revenue organization with deal structuring, pricing guidance, and streamlined approval processes. As a Deal Desk Analyst, your mission is to ensure deal accuracy & compliance, and reduce the deal cycle.

This is a highly visible, cross-functional role where you'll serve as a trusted advisor to our revenue team, helping them navigate complex deals while maintaining pricing discipline and compliance standards. You'll collaborate closely with Revenue, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to ensure our customers receive world-class service from contract creation through implementation.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain pricing discipline and compliance by reviewing non-standard pricing requests, ensuring deals adhere to revenue recognition standards, and providing data-driven recommendations on discount thresholds and payment terms
  • Optimize our quote-to-cash process by managing Salesforce workflows, CPQ configurations, and approval automation, identifying opportunities to streamline operations and reduce administrative burden on revenue teams
  • Serve as the primary liaison between revenue and cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Product, Customer Success), facilitating seamless communication and rapid resolution of complex deal requirements
  • Drive process improvements by analyzing deal patterns, identifying bottlenecks in the sales cycle, and collaborating with Revenue Operations leadership to implement scalable solutions that support Pave's rapid growth
  • Accelerate deal velocity by providing expert guidance on deal structure, pricing, and contract terms for Pave's compensation platform, ensuring deals move efficiently through the approval process while maintaining profitability targets
  • Support strategic initiatives by participating in deal reviews with revenue leadership, contributing to pricing strategy development, and ensuring our deal desk operations scale effectively as we expand our customer base and product offerings

You're excited about this opportunity because you have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, revenue operations, or finance operations at a B2B SaaS company, with demonstrated success in managing complex software deals and cross-functional projects
  • Salesforce and CPQ experience with tools like MonetizeNow, or similar configure-price-quote platforms is a big plus.
  • Enterprise software expertise with understanding of subscription business models, revenue recognition principles, and the unique challenges of selling complex B2B solutions to HR and Finance leaders
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across teams, translate technical requirements into business terms, and maintain composure during high-pressure end-of-quarter periods
  • Process-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail, project management capabilities, and a natural inclination to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements
  • Customer-focused approach with genuine interest in helping compensation professionals solve complex challenges, plus the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities can shift quickly
