ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to be the face and voice of PAX. The PAX Brand Ambassador team is an inspiring group of empowered and knowledgeable individuals focused on increasing brand awareness and sales by promoting our products through various media channels. The most important facet of a PAX Brand Ambassador is to educate while creating a memorable experience between the consumer and the brand. To excel in this role, you will have excellent communication and networking skills. Previous experience as a brand ambassador or similar role is strongly desired, as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles. 

This is a part-time, field position and will start as a 3 month contract-to-hire.

As a PAX Brand Ambassador you will...

  • Represent the brand and company in a positive and professional manner at all retail events, outside events, and on social media
  • Immerse yourself in the company's mission, vision, and goals
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to educate customers, retailers, and distributors about our products via in-store demonstrations and company related events/parties
  • Build rapport with customers and vendors
  • Communicate trends, opportunities and feedback to the Field Marketing Managers
  • Drive brand awareness, positive impressions, and sell through of PAX through various activations including but not limited to: in-store demos, dispensary events, community events, lifestyle pop ups, curated brand events, micro-influencer drops, and festivals.
  • Accurately and timely complete and submit end of shift reports online; expense reports (if applicable), photo submissions, etc.
  • Attends initial training as well as possible ongoing monthly product training, team meetings, client training, etc.
  • Track metrics and sales campaigns
  • Properly manage organization and cleanliness of storage space, product, and marketing assets
  • Restock assets prior to demo days
  • Hand out Fliers to accounts and surrounding businesses to promote upcoming company events, promos, or store openings 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Field Marketing Manager/ Director

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES 

  • A reliable means of transportation and valid driver’s license that is not expired, suspended, or revoked, as demonstrated with MVR
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Comfortable public speaking in front of large and small audiences
  • Sales skills, including persuasion, overcoming objections, active listening, and negotiation.
  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and tools 
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks 
  • Ability to travel
  • Skilled in relationship building
  • Excellent time-management skills

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Prior experience in a customer service environment 
  • State Law requires that applicants be 21 years old
  • 2 + years of experience in events, retail, customer service, or related field
  • Cannabis Industry experience preferred 
  • Willing to undergo a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work under diverse weather conditions
  • Ability to stand and remain mobile for extended periods of time during samplings and events
  • Ability to record accurate data
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times 
  • Ability to occasionally bend, kneel, squat, and twist

COMPENSATION

This role has a pay range between $30/hour + mileage reimbursement. This pay represents what we believe, in good faith, this role will pay.
