People Operations Generalists manage and optimize core HR functions — including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and HR compliance — while supporting the overall employee experience. At this level, this role manages a variety of HR tasks independently, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy, records management, and ensuring new hires have a smooth, well-supported start.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the employee onboarding process end-to-end, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and coordinating orientation schedules
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and answering employee questions
- Maintain and update employee records across HR systems, auditing for accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality
- Contribute to HR process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of HR operations
- Maintain HR compliance documentation, supporting audits and reporting requirements
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and onboarding status
- Support data migrations, imports, and system integrations, and reconcile discrepancies between systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR, people operations, or a related field, with a focus on HR operations.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High level of detail orientation, with the ability to catch inconsistencies and maintain accuracy across large volumes of data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong written English for new hire and internal correspondence
- Proficiency with HR systems and tools (e.g., HiBob, ADP, or similar)
- Comfort working independently with large volumes of data across time zones
- Solid Excel/Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivot tables, data cleaning)
Annual Salary Range
$18 - $24 USD
