About the Media Producer role
We’re hiring a Media Producer to help us bring Paystack's story to life through compelling video, photography, and multimedia content.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced creative role. You’ll shoot and edit original videos, from testimonials and ads to explainers and mini-docs, and help build the library of media assets we use to tell our story across digital platforms.
You’ll also collaborate with external editors, producers, and photographers to scale our creative output, and contribute to broader storytelling efforts across Paystack's social and marketing channels.
We’ll trust you to:
- Plan, shoot, and edit original video content, including product explainers, social ads, testimonials, lifestyle content, and mini-documentaries for Paystack.
- Produce and adapt video ads for specific platforms (Instagram, TV, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter), with tailored formats, visuals, and CTAs.
- Capture and edit photos and short videos for our social channels and blog.
- Create simple explainers and walkthroughs to help users understand and onboard onto Paystack.
- Manage our digital media library, ensuring all video/photo/audio assets are cataloged and easy to retrieve.
- Coordinate with freelance media professionals, including editors and videographers, to deliver polished assets quickly and consistently.
- Support logistics for Paystack events and shoots, including RSVP setup, livestream coordination, and AV support.
- Assist with light podcast production, when needed.
- Contribute to our social media calendar by developing creative content ideas in collaboration with the Brand Storytelling team.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Can shoot and edit high-quality video and photo content using a DSLR camera
- Are proficient with Adobe Creative Suite — especially Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Photoshop
- Have a strong eye (and ear) for compelling stories and can find ways to turn everyday moments into creative content
- Are an excellent communicator, able to explain complex ideas simply and clearly
- Are detail-oriented and deadline-driven
- Are comfortable interacting with people and helping them feel confident on camera
- Can take initiative — pitching ideas, chasing stories, and capturing moments without needing step-by-step instructions
- Are flexible and resourceful — able to adapt when things don’t go as planned
Bonus points if you
- Have experience with lighting setups, color grading, and sound design
- Know your way around After Effects or other motion graphics tools
- Have worked in fast-moving startup environments
- Are curious about new formats, new tools, and the future of storytelling in tech
