Position Summary:
Plan, develop, and direct the outbound marketing efforts for assigned markets. Communicate product strategies
and develop innovative marketing programs that drive product demand. Coordinate Marketing activities with:
Communications Manager/Coordinator in production, advertising, promotion, Research and Development, Market
Research, Regulatory, and Sales.
Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
1. Develop and implement a 3-year tactical marketing plan for our professional products and customers that
will meet our budgeted annual sales targets.
2. Develop an in-depth understanding of customers, market dynamics, competitors, and current market
conditions. At the same time, recommend market research as needed.
3. Responsible for the collection and analysis of competitive programs and pricing.
4. Create, implement, and manage all published programs/pricing for the company’s professional products that
meet our financial goals.
5. Evaluate the success of our marketing programs against objectives, using fact-based analysis and metrics,
and develop a post-program review for the management team.
6. Responsible for leading the Go-to-market team (Marketing, Sales, Product Development) in developing the
yearly marketing plan to meet our budgeted sales targets.
7. Help define product marketing communication objectives with Product Management. Collaborate with Sales
and Marketing Communications in developing and supporting promotional programs, advertising campaign
concepts, collateral, and advertising materials for assigned markets/customers.
8. Act as liaison to all departments to enforce the visual identity of the company’s products. Preserve
consistency while ensuring that all branded materials express the most effective and recognizable company
or product message.
9. Participate within Cross-Functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and
Regulatory, in managing Marketing elements of assigned products from launch through discontinuation.
10. Coordinate developing and implementing product and program training materials for our professional
products and sales personnel, including outside distributor’s representatives and end-users.
11. Support the employee-ownership culture and live by the Company values in carrying out the day-to-day
operations
12. All other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business-related industry (MBA
preferred)
- Experience: 8-10 years in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Business-related industry
- Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling customer benefits; experience in product
launch and lifecycle management, including line extensions, is preferred. Must be results-oriented and
creative; possess strong interpersonal, communication, time management, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Travel required in this position 10-25%
