POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Clinical Education Manager/Director is responsible for coordinating and supporting the organization’s clinical education initiatives across all providers. This role manages the clinical learning management system (LMS), facilitates continuing education programs, and supports clinical leadership in delivering consistent, high-quality training and professional development opportunities. The position works closely with Clinical Support Directors, clinical leadership, and operations teams to ensure educational programming, study clubs, and internal learning resources are effectively organized, communicated, and executed across the provider network. 

Dental operations or clinical experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should be highly organized and technologically proficient, particularly within Microsoft Office, as the role involves scheduling meetings, managing communications, and supporting educational coordination across multiple teams. This position is flexible to remote/hybrid work; candidates must reside within any of our operating states and have the ability to travel as needed for in-person events/meetings. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Clinical Education Program Management 

  • Oversee administration and management of the organization’s clinical learning management system (LMS).
  • Maintain and organize educational materials, clinical protocols, and training modules within the LMS.
  • Track provider participation and completion of required and recommended educational content.
  • Ensure clinical education resources are easily accessible and consistently updated. 

Continuing Education Coordination 

  • Coordinate internal and external continuing education opportunities for providers.
  • Work with clinical leadership to identify relevant CE courses aligned with organizational clinical priorities.
  • Assist with CE accreditation of logistics, scheduling, and provider communication.
  • Maintain records of CE participation and documentation when required. 

Study Club & Educational Event Coordination 

  • Assist Clinical Support Directors and clinical leadership in organizing monthly study clubs.
  • Coordinate logistics including scheduling, speakers, materials, and communication.
  • Ensure study clubs support clinical excellence, peer collaboration, and ongoing learning. 

Clinical Content & Knowledge Sharing 

  • Assist in reviewing, organizing, and distributing internal “Clinical Pearls” and best practice updates.
  • Work with clinical leadership to develop and circulate educational content that reinforces clinical standards.
  • Help translate clinical insights and updates into structured educational materials. 

Operational Support for Clinical Leadership 

  • Serve as a central administrative resource supporting clinical education initiatives.
  • Coordinate communication related to educational programs and updates.
  • Assist with implementation of new clinical training initiatives or protocols.
  • Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to improve provider participation in educational programming. 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; dental administration, healthcare management, or related field strongly preferred. 

Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience managing or administering a learning management system (LMS) preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple educational initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with clinical providers and leadership.
  • Strong administrative discipline with attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate clinical leadership direction into organized educational programs.

Salary Rane - $100,000 - $120,000 annual salary
