Live Events Account Manager & AV Solutions Lead

Dayton, New Jersey, United States; New York, New York, United States; North Las Vegas, Nevada, United States; Oakville, Ontario, Canada

At Peak Technologies, we specialize in delivering innovative solutions for both virtual and live events. From high-impact marketing activations to large-scale conferences, we bring expertise, creativity, and technical precision to every project. Our mission is to craft exceptional event experiences that connect, engage, and inspire.

Turn big ideas into unforgettable live experiences.

What happens when a client says, “We want to do something amazing”?

You’re the person who figures out how to make it happen.

Peak Technologies is looking for an experienced  Live Events Account Manager & AV Solutions Lead who understands both the creative possibilities of live events and the technical and financial realities required to deliver them successfully.

In this role, you’ll be more than an estimator. You’ll be a trusted partner to clients, helping shape their vision from the first conversation through show day and final reconciliation. You’ll develop smart AV solutions, build accurate budgets, protect margins, solve problems, and collaborate with the teams that bring the event to life.

If you enjoy working with clients, solving complex production challenges, building winning estimates, and seeing your work come to life on the show floor, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Own

  • Client relationships: Build trusted, long-term partnerships and become the person clients turn to when they need a production solution.
  • Event strategy: Translate a client's goals, ideas, and budget into a practical, compelling AV production plan.
  • Estimating & pricing: Develop detailed estimates covering equipment, labor, logistics, vendors, and production services.
  • Financial performance: Own project budgets, forecasting, margins, change orders, and final reconciliation.
  • Production scope: Develop solutions for general sessions, breakouts, trade shows, corporate events, and large-scale live productions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, operations, vendors, venues, and other partners to make the plan work.
  • Creative problem-solving: Find smarter ways to deliver the client's vision—maximizing impact and value while protecting profitability.
  • Business development: Help develop proposals, bids, and presentations while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.

What Makes You a Great Fit

We're looking for someone who can comfortably move between client conversations, technical discussions, and spreadsheets.

You bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in AV, live events, staging, entertainment production, or a related field
  • Strong experience with AV estimating, budgeting, and project costing
  • A proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, LED, staging, and basic rigging
  • The ability to understand and work with technical drawings and production documentation
  • Strong Excel and project-costing/ERP skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, analytical, customer-focused mindset
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects while keeping the details—and the client experience—on track
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10–20%, depending on event volume

Why This Role Is Different

This isn't a position where you'll simply receive a scope and put numbers into a spreadsheet.

You'll have a seat at the table.

You'll help determine what's possible, how it should be produced, what it should cost, and how we can deliver it successfully. You'll work with clients and internal teams to turn concepts into real-world productions—and you'll get to see the results of your work.

Every project is different. Every client brings a new challenge. And when the lights come on and the show works exactly as planned, you'll know you helped make it happen.

Ready to bring ideas to life?

If you're an AV professional who combines technical knowledge, commercial instincts, and a genuine passion for live events, we'd love to hear from you.

Join Peak Technologies and help turn great ideas into great shows.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
