Position Summary
Supports manufacturing production operations by ensuring quality through the implementation of “Zero Defects” practices. Plans, coordinates, and manages activities related to the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards, with a focus on Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), and End-of-Line (EOL) inspections.

Position Responsibilities
Develops and implements quality controls, procedures, instructions, and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation to ensure product quality.
- Defines sampling procedures and establishes processes for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data, including Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Collaborates with project teams to define quality controls that comply with company-specific requirements.
- Drives customer satisfaction by proactively identifying and implementing design, process, and equipment improvements to mitigate quality issues.
- Participates in Root Cause Analyses (CAPA) for internal and external issues using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and Ishikawa.
- Works closely with Supplier Quality and Engineering teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues.
- Supports organizational initiatives related to safety, quality, productivity, and cost optimization.
- Manages projects with minimal oversight, including complex technology developments.
- Performs additional duties as assigned or required.
Specific Knowledge, Skills Or Abilities Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or at least 3+ years of experience as Quality Control Engineer/Supervisor.
- 2+ years of quality experience in a production environment
- Mechanical manufacturing methods, procedures, and quality
- Time management and prioritization abilities
- Core Tools (FMEA, SPC)
- Root Cause Analysis (8D’s, 5-Why, Ishikawa)
- GD&T, Drawing reading

Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
