Summary:
The professional services veterinarian works side-by-side with sales to support the technical needs of the sales force through presentations at various local and national venues, training and coaching sales representatives to use technical data during sales calls and supporting the needs of key opinion leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the sales team to develop and successfully achieve business strategies and objectives collectively and for individual territories.
- Provide coaching, training, and leadership to the sales team as the field technical expert.
- Prepare and deliver technical lectures on product line to internal and external stakeholders, including customers and partners.
- Meet with key opinion leaders and veterinary school faculty to discuss potential new business opportunities.
- Provide commercial and regulatory review of promotional materials and assist with preparing marketing presentations, communications, and materials.
- Support the pharmacovigilance program of Pegasus products post-launch.
- Collaborate with the new product development team to advise on in-life assessment and study designs and be the “voice of the veterinarian” when reporting back new trends in medicine.
- All other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DMV)
- 8+ years relevant work experience with a minimum of 5 years of industry professional services experience.
- Work effectively with our customers and sales force.
- Excelled oral, written and presentation skills.
- Travel up to 75% of the time.
