Professional Services Consultant

The Professional Services team is dedicated to accelerating time to value for our Pendo users. As a Consultant, you will contribute to this mission by combining technical skills and customer-facing expertise to support the successful implementation and adoption of Pendo. Consultants work across all products and partner with CSMs, TAMs, ADs, and others to ensure customer success.

Key Responsibilities
Support Customer Engagements:
- Assist in managing customer engagements from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and align with customer objectives.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, business goals, and timelines, and provide recommendations to achieve desired outcomes.
Facilitate Change & Adoption:
- Support customers in adopting new products or processes, helping them navigate transitions and maximize the impact of their investments.
- Encourage customer stakeholders to embrace new technologies and best practices that align with their strategic objectives.
Technical Consulting & Solution Implementation:
- Deliver technical solutions, including in-app tagging, guide creation, installation and foundational integration setup, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Provide assistance with areas like setup, authentication, and analytics, translating technical requirements into actionable solutions for customers.
Customer Advocacy & Relationship Building:
- Build strong relationships across various customer personas and segments to support ongoing satisfaction and success.
- Act as a voice of the customer, providing feedback to internal teams to align product development and strategies with customer needs.
Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
- Collaborate with peers and senior team members to continuously improve delivery methodologies.
- Contribute to reusable assets and frameworks that enhance team efficiency and customer outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, ideally in a SaaS B2B environment, with experience delivering customer success and presenting solutions.
- Proficiency in CSS and HTML at a foundational to intermediate level, with the ability to contribute to implementing technical solutions such as in-app tagging, installing Pendo and guide building.
- Exposure to transformation initiatives or process changes, with the ability to help customers navigate transitions and adopt new solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with customers across a range of industries, with a focus on driving value and adoption.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with customers at multiple organizational levels.
- Familiarity with digital transformation projects is a plus.

Compensation
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
The expected base salary range for this role in the following location is:
Raleigh, NC - $85,000 - $107,000
Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
