We’re seeking a creative and highly organised Event Marketing Manager to bridge the worlds of Marketing and Events. This role will help market and execute our flagship conferences as well as regional and virtual events that connect product professionals around the globe.
You’ll be tasked with ensuring our events are not only flawlessly delivered but also successfully marketed, from campaign planning to on-site brand presence. You’ll collaborate closely with the Marketing, Events, and Creative teams to drive awareness, registration, and involvement for each event.
This is an individual contributor role for someone with solid event-marketing experience who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Now part of Pendo, our company organizes important conferences such as #mtpcon and INDUSTRY. We host local ProductTank meetups, special events for executives, useful training programs, and produce online content. These efforts aim to help product managers and leaders get better at their jobs.
 
Key responsibilities
 
Event marketing & campaign execution
  • Plan, build, and execute integrated campaigns to promote Mind the Product events and experiences across email, social, paid media, web, content, and other owned channels.
  • Partner with the Marketing Director to develop and execute audience-growth and registration-driving strategies.
  • Write and optimise marketing copy for ads, newsletters, landing pages, and on-site materials.
  • Collaborate with the Events team to craft promotional content, highlight speakers, and design pre-event and post-event attendee engagement strategies.
Event operations & coordination
  • Assist with the organization of large conferences (#mtpcon and INDUSTRY). Tasks involve setting up signage, coordinating with vendors, managing event branding, and interacting with attendees.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure creative assets, print materials, and activations are produced on time and on brand.
  • Own, maintain and manage project timelines, marketing calendars, and campaign trackers to ensure seamless team coordination and on-time delivery of events and projects.
  • Take a leading role in event delivery and troubleshooting across all stages - from pre-event setup through on-the-day execution to post-event wrap-up.
Performance tracking & optimisation
  • Monitor registration, campaign performance, and engagement metrics; recommend adjustments and strategies to improve ROI.
  • Coordinate post-event reporting and analysis to inform future marketing and event strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, content, and sales teams to align on event goals and success criteria.
Basic qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years in event marketing (B2B or community-driven preferred).
  • Experience running marketing campaigns for conferences or large-scale events.
  • Comfortable using Google Suite, Salesforce, and Cvent (or similar tools).
  • Willingness to travel 2–3 times a year for major events.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in the SaaS or tech industry.
  • Insight with the product management community.
  • A knack for creative collaboration and data-driven storytelling.
  • Experience marketing or managing conferences, trade shows, or large-scale community events.
  • Knowledge with the product management or tech industry landscape.
  • Well-developed design sensibility and ability to collaborate successfully on creative assets.
  • Analytical mindset with experience reporting on marketing or event KPIs.
