About the Role & Team
The Interactive Product Management team leads the strategy for Penn Interactive's incredible digital product portfolio – from ESPN BET, theScore Bet, theScore Media, and iCasino. This team impacts the way millions of people engage with our products in more personalized and immersive ways, leveraging bleeding-edge technologies. As an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial product leader, you will manage, innovate, and execute on product initiatives that focus on the promotional experience in both ESPN BET and theScore BET. 

In this role this you will take on challenges in a fast paced ever changing environment. This is a high impact, high visibility role that will impact key features, innovation and scale. It requires strong collaboration, leadership and agility to drive the development of a Tier 1 Sportsbook product. 

The right candidate is a seasoned product person, with prior experience working with marketing teams and building marketing technology. You are also a business strategist, a skilled team leader and exceptional communicator, comfortable presenting to leadership. 
 
As a major component of any sportsbook, generosity & promotions are vital throughout a user’s lifecycle including acquisition, activation, and retention. The Promotions team aims to empower both users and marketing team members through bespoke offerings, award types, and best-in-class features.  

 
About the Work 

  • Discover and define product solutions that contribute to PENN’s goals, while developing and planning a product strategy that aligns to long-term objectives
  • Define and report on KPIs that track performance of existing products and new features.
  • Work closely with marketing, compliance, legal and finance teams to ensure product initiatives follow regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize learnings (quantitative/qualitative) to make data-informed prioritization and decision making.
  • Ensure widespread awareness of the features/products launched through GTM strategies.
  • Drive transparency and accountability when it comes to communication, product documentation and development process.
  • Nurture a high-level of collaboration with multiple stakeholders and team members.
  • Work closely with other partners to develop a strong comprehension of the competitive landscape and use it to drive roadmap prioritization.
  • Invest in the growth of the wider Product Team through coaching, developing best practices, and continuous improvements targets.
  • Other duties as required. 

About You 

  • 8+ years’ experience in product management, plus 2+ years of people leadership experience is required.
  • Experience working in Marketing technology is required.
  • Experience in high-volume B2C applications is required.  
  • Experience in sports betting and/or iGaming is highly preferred.
  • Experience with promotional and reward mechanics is highly preferred.  
  • Ability to grasp product strategy and execution and how they align to business value.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to drive decisions and back up assumptions and recommendations.
  • Strong leader with a competitive edge who can inspire, influence, build talent collaborate, and provide direction in a complex space that breeds results.
  • Innate emotional intelligence with a proven ability to navigate complex topics with many stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and comprehension skills with an ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Ability to work with engineering teams to go deep into technical concepts, make tradeoffs to remove roadblocks, evaluate alternative approaches, and make critical prioritization decisions.
  • Experience managing and coaching product managers to deliver.

Salary Range

$165,000 - $200,000 USD

Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is just one component of our competitive Total Rewards package, which includes wellness programs designed to support our team members' financial, physical, and mental well-being. Specific benefits—such as day-one medical coverage, 401(k) matching, annual performance bonus and equity package — depending on position. Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.
