About the Role & Team
The Senior Technical Security Analyst role is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to take their Technical Security career path to the next level. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Technical Compliance team on their respective responsibilities with your focus on facilitating security assessments and audits,
About the Work
As the Sr. Technical Security Analyst, you will:
- Facilitate Security assessments/audits, Certification, Technical Incident Reporting and Change Management (including regulatory release notes) on a day-to-day basis.
- Stay up to date with evolving market regulations to ensure continued platform compliance.
- Communicate to all stakeholders at various levels key project plans, statuses, commitments, and changes including requirements and timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Penn Interactive to ensure that product development projects adhere to the change management policy and process.
- Maintain excellent external stakeholder relations with regulatory bodies, independent labs and integrated vendors to ensure that all regulatory requirements and deliverables are completed on time and ensure accuracy
- Manage documentation storage including team operating procedures and support Engineering policies updates
- Other duties as required
About You
- 3-5 years proven experience in Gambling industry, Sportsbook and iGaming is essential with an emphasis in security assessments, product certification and analysing technical regulatory requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders at any level
- Solid understanding of project management and release management principles
- Experience with collaborating with regulatory authorities, auditors and third-party partners and vendors
- Understanding of security technology concepts (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability discovery, CI/CP pipelines)
- Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, GCP), network protocols and security architectures
- Proven time/project management and analytical skills.
- A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (coding not required), and familiarity with system architecture.
- Thorough knowledge of Change Management, in accordance with ITIL standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard for accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, maintain documentation, think critically, and take ownership of delivery.
- Degree in computer science/engineering, or equivalent knowledge and/or experience
