Outbound Sales Development Representative

As an Outbound SDR (Sales Development Representative), you’ll be responsible for sourcing meetings with high-value target accounts. You’ll play a crucial role in the sales process by ensuring that leads generated through outbound efforts (ABM, conferences, events, etc.) are effectively qualified, nurtured, and handed off to the Sales team. This will ultimately contribute to the company's revenue growth and customer acquisition efforts.

The Opportunity

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Research accounts, build relationships with key decision-makers, and book qualified meetings that lead to closed won revenue 
  • Hold phone calls and zoom meetings with prospective customers to understand their business challenges and goals
  • Regularly update Salesforce, providing accurate forecasts and lead statuses
  • Collaborate on and influence performance initiatives, product launches, and service innovation when working with cross-functional partners
  • Work closely with Marketing to build strong program feedback loops
  • Team up with Account Executives to build sales pipeline and help close deals
  • Consistently generate fresh, creative approaches to the outbounding process

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6 months - 1 year + of Outbound SDR experience in a remote setting
  • Desire to be part of a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and lead qualification processes 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Experience communicating with technical personas (developers, product and engineering teams) in a B2B setting
  • Experience carrying and exceeding a quota

Outbounding in DaaS is different than SaaS. We’re looking for creative, thoughtful, and intrinsically motivated outbound sales development reps. Stand out in the application process by showing off your outbounding skills and style (up for creative interpretation, but spamming doesn’t count).
